Infinite Possibilities

When you become comfortable with uncertainty, infinite possibilities open up in your life. – Eckhart Tolle

Such an awesome statement.

IMG_3527_LRThere comes a time when you find yourself at a crossroads, perhaps with many different options, but all of them requiring the traditional leap of faith into the unknown. Of course, this place brings up our deepest fears of how we will manage, what if we fail, and general fears of the unknown. Mind has to know. It hates the uncertainty and the insecurities that come with that uncertainty. How hard sometimes to separate Essence from mind. Yet we must. We must, at the very least, recognize mind at work in order to acknowledge mind’s fears and worries and to then surrender to those same fears and worries knowing full well that in time they will dissolve into the illusion from whence they arose.

Relentless and intense focus on simply being is called for – being still in Presence.

And then I like to drop this thought into awareness. “ I am. I am Presence. I am unlimited and I live in a field of infinite possibilities. How does Presence want to express itself in this moment?”

More relentless and intense focus in the moment.

Sometimes a gentle thought flutters into my mind, at other times, I might experience a surge of inspiration to take some action. But whatever happens, what a wonderful world opens up in that field of infinite possibilities.

Mind has such an important role to play in a human being’s life – it just has to learn what that role is; which is that of support for being/Essence. Mind’s role is to be the railway track for Essence to run along, or the river bank for Essence to flow through. But mind has learned otherwise throughout the human being’s life, and what mind has learned has to be recognized and released so that we are comfortable with uncertainty.

And a world of infinite possibilities can then shine forth.
